Planning Analyst
ประจำสำนักงาน Chevron SCB ParkJob description:
The successful selected candidate will be working as a planning analyst position in the Asia South Strategy & Planning group under Chevron Asia South Limited. The analyst will work with the ASBU Regional Planning manager and the other two analysts in the team. In addition, the analyst will have opportunities to work closely with planning and finance analysts in the ASBU and its six Profit Centers in several aspect of planning functions.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
• Perform planning/financial analysis work on ASBU Business Plan and Strategic Plan information as per guidance from ASBU Planning GM and Manager
• Learn and become a power user of ASBU MIDAS planning database & reporting system. Be able to perform quality control and analysis work on the planning and financial database resided in the MIDAS system. Become a key contact point with ASBU profit centers and CAPEP MIDAS support team on all technical matter with MIDAS database and reporting system. Be able to coach and train new MIDAS users for ASBU planning and finance teams for the annual Bplan / One plan development
• Perform ad-hoc analysis on operational and financial performance with guidance from ASBU Planning GM and Manager
• Constantly communicate and ensure alignment with all key stakeholders in all work assignments. Deliver high quality work product with accuracy and in a timely manner to key stakeholders and supervisors
• Act as a coordinator for the monthly performance reports from all six profit centers and develop a consolidated view of the overall ASBU. Evaluate performances against business plan and prepare reports to management on a monthly basis. Timely provide the consolidated report with high quality work product to the ASBU Planning GM and Manager.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree, MBA or master degree in engineering is preferred
• Strong English communication skill in both writing and speaking as the job required constant communications with planning teams in other countries (Minimum TOEIC Score of 800)
• Minimum 12 years of working experienced in planning, finance, engineering, or operations in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Having good knowledge of, and experience with business planning processes, performance monitoring (including C&E, OPEX, and Reserves), and portfolio assessment. Understands the link between business planning and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated strong numerate capability, including probabilistic forecasting and basic understanding of economic evaluation.
• Understanding of how the planning process (forward looking) ties into the financial and management reporting (backward looking). Ability to use business knowledge to analyze trends and forecast performance. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Access Database
• Attention to details and good focus on support and effective communications. Ability to deliver concise, informative and effective presentations and to communicate difficult/sensitive information appropriately.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and multiple high priority tasks concurrently. Consistently meets deadlines in a timely manner.
• Enthusiastic, active, eager to learn, team player, continuously look for change for better outcome
