Assistant IT Manager/IT Manager
Purpose of the position:
This position is responsible for assisting the IT Business Manager in managing the IT function of the organization. Alternatively, may assist in supervising a team of professionals and/or support staff.
Scope:
This position report to IT business manager and manages and provides hardware and software maintenance, training and consultation, and recommendation about future planning and development of resources.
Tasks:
The main task is to help the company to reach its business objectives by providing IT services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access to and implementation of technology services and resources.
•Manage information technology and computer systems
•Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software
•Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access
•Works closely with Management and Operational teams to evaluate business information systems for providing innovative IT solutions and preparing requirement specification.
•Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
•Male/Female Age 32 years old up
•At least Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences or related fields
•Over 7 years proven IT management/system administration analysis, design and programming experience including supervisory experience.
•Thorough knowledge of system development methods used for the development of new systems and enhancements to existing information systems.
•Thorough knowledge of advanced concepts and basic operating principles of data communications and information systems hardware and software.
•Thorough knowledge of advanced principles, theories, techniques, and methods of information system analysis and programming.
•Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.
•Ability to adapt, integrate and modify existing programs or vendor-supplied packaged programs for use with existing information systems.
•Have experience in website administrator and have knowledge in developing web applications using VB.NET, ASP.NET would be advantage
•Having knowledge about database development using MS SQL Server is a plus
•Service mind and enthusiastic to working attitude and ability to relate well with people from all levels
•Ensure tasks are completed in time and meet the necessary standards
•Be punctual and initiative for problem solving
•Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
•High degree of personal discipline
•Able to communicate in English
