PROJECT ENGINEER
General Purpose
The role of the Project Engineer is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of the third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Engineer will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects
- Manage project budget and resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide quality assurance with the support of the Company Department
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Provide assistance on the Operation Manager on a case to case basis and Energy Management Team during Detailed Energy Audit as the need arises
- Be able to validate technical options offered by the contractors/consultants and design basic improvement (pipes routing, sizing, pumps capacity, etc.) in the fields of common utilities (chilled water, air conditioning, compressed air)
- Support on the initial costing during the preliminary stage of the project
Education, Experience and Traits
- Licensed Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or equivalent.
- At least 5 years experienced on the installation of utilities such as Chilled water plant/ HVAC, Compressed air system, Hot water system and others.
- Qualification in project management or equivalent
- Knowledge of project management techniques, software and tools
- Direct work experience in project management capacity
Strong interpersonal skills, resourceful, and self-reliant.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
General Purpose
The role of the Design Engineer is to develop an effective and efficient solution to the clients' HVAC. Be able to conduct a walkthrough energy audit, plan and execute the Detail Energy Audit, formulate technical and financial solutions, design the implementation of such solutions. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of the third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead the walk through audit, plan and execute detailed audit and complete the report with analysis of the improvement options,
- Design the appropriate solutions and implementation of such solution
- Develop commercial offers of the solution to support the Business Development Team presenting to clients.
- Provide assistance to the Project Team to execute the installation of the succeeded proposals in order to deliver the solution.
- Provide assistance on the Operation on a case by case basis regarding plant efficiency improvement
- Be able to validate technical options offered by the contractors/consultants and design basic improvement (pipes routing, sizing, pumps capacity, etc.) in the fields of common utilities (chilled water, air conditioning, compressed air)
- Be resourceful to assist Cofely in the region, in term of Energy Management Solution,
Education, Experience and Traits
- Licensed Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
- At least 15 years experienced involving in design and/or operate & maintain HVAC
- Knowledge of financial tools in project analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills, resourceful, and self-reliant.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Very fluent in English both spoken and written, this is a MUST
